About
As an intersectional feminist and development professional with over six years of experience in the social impact sector, Dipasa Bista is committed to advancing gender equality, social justice, and creating inclusive, community-led spaces. Her work spans designing youth-led campaigns, implementing social impact initiatives, and supporting equity-driven community organizations across South Asia and the United States. She currently serves as a board member of Women LEAD U.S., a registered 501c3 supporting girls’ leadership development in Nepal.
Dipasa holds a Master’s in International Development from the Josef Korbel School of International Studies at the University of Denver, with a concentration in Gender, Global Justice, and Social Impact. Her graduate coursework in restorative justice deepened her belief in the power of dialogue, storytelling, and accountability in building equitable and empathetic communities. Dipasa is especially interested in bridging gender justice, youth leadership, and restorative frameworks to build communities that center belonging, dialogue, and shared leadership—where all people, especially those historically marginalized, feel seen, heard, and valued.
In her free time, she loves being around dogs, mountains, creeks, lakes, and good food!
